Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is a groundbreaking public education program that helps the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders to create an “action plan”. This comprehensive, 8-hour training this program is designed for a wide array of attendees, including teachers, students, clergy, librarians, first responders, business owners, human resource professionals, and caring citizens.

Mental Health & Wellness 101

This customizable training increases basic knowledge of mental health and provides a framework of wellness and assists participants in developing self-care “toolkits.” This training is designed for schools, libraries, businesses, and other community organizations.

safeTALK

LivingWorks safeTALK is a three to four-hour training designed to create safer communities through teaching people to be more alert to signs that someone may be thinking of suicide and help develop the skills to connect them to further help. Using a simple yet effective model, LivingWorks safeTALK empowers everyone to make a difference.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)

Ask a Question, Save a Life. Our QPR suicide prevention training will teach you three steps to become a resource for someone who might be struggling. Learn how to recognize the warning signs, intervene, and refer someone in crisis to the appropriate resources. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
