Family Support Services

Overview

Our Family Support Services offer one-on-one care, advocacy, skill building, and parent education for families who have a child who has been diagnosed with a behavioral health condition or behavioral challenge. A credentialed family peer professional, who shares lived experience parenting a child with similar challenges, provides a wide range of services to support families based on their needs. Peer support is offered through in-person or virtual meetings, and can help to:

  • Promote self-advocacy and self-efficacy
  • Empower families to make informed choices about their child’s care
  • Create community connections and supports
  • Support parents and caregivers in developing parenting skills
