Functional Family Therapy - Child Welfare
Our Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare (FFT-CW) services work with families currently under the supervision of the Westchester County Department of Social Services due to child safety concerns. Through an evidence-based therapeutic model, our FFT-CW team helps to address the child’s behavioral health needs, promote positive outcomes, strengthen relationships within their families, reduce family risk factors, and prevent placement into foster care.
Our FFT-CW services consist of an average of 12 to 14 sessions over the course of three to five months and can be provided in clinic, home, and community-based settings.
Youth aged 0 to 17 who have been referred by the Westchester County Department of Social Services may be eligible for FFT‑CW.
Referrals from FFT-CW come from the Westchester County Department of Social Services. For more information and to access FFT services, please contact us.
