Peer and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Overview

Your voice matters and we’re here to listen. Greater Mental Health of New York’s Peer and Family Advisory Council was created to ensure that the voices of all participants of Greater Mental Health of New York services are heard in all areas of their treatment and recovery. The Peer and Family Advisory Council works in partnership with participants of our services, families, Greater Mental Health staff and board members.

Participants who wish to participate will be invited to monthly meetings along with other members of the Greater Mental Health community. By creating a collaborative environment between providers and participants, we hope to encourage individuals to share their experiences with Greater Mental Health, advocate for other individuals or families enrolled in our services, and learn more about the different initiatives and programs in the agency.
